TIN 사용예

앞에서 설명한 내용대로 정상적으로 환경을 설정한 다음 명령어 tin을 구
동하면
다음과 같은 내용이 화면에 나타난다.

Group Selection 화면에서 h key를 입력하면 뉴스그룹 메뉴에서 사용할
수 있는
기능들을 다음과 같이 보여 준다..

여기서는 자주 사용하는 몇가지 기능에 대해서만 설명한다. 현재 메뉴를
끝내고
쉘로 빠려 나오려면 q 혹은 Q를 입력하면 된다. Group Selection 화면에
서 첫째
줄의 괄호 안에 있는 숫자는 현재 뉴스 서버에서 제공하는 있는 뉴스 그
룹의
수를 나타내며, 두 번째 줄 이후의 맨 앞에 있는 u 는 unsubscribe의 약
자이다.
사용자가 그 뉴스그룹의 내용을 보고자 하는 경우에는 s key를 입력하면
그
뉴스그룹의 맨 앞에 적혀져 있는 u가 사라지며, 그 때부터 그 그룹의 뉴
스를 볼
수 있다. 다음은 명령어를 실행시킨 결과입니다.

현재 뉴스를 가리키고 있는 화살표를 위, 아래로 이동 시키려면 vi에서
같은
방법을 사용하면 된다. 즉 j key는 아래로 k key는 위로 이동하는 것이
다.
그리고, 화면상에 나타난 뉴스 그룹을 페이지 단위로 앞,뒤로 이동하려면
control-u 혹은 control-d로 하면 된다. 관심이 있는 뉴스그룹을 찻기 위
해서는
/를 입력하여 다음과 같이 질문에 원하는 뉴스그룹의 이름(혹은 이름의
일부분)을 입력하면 된다.

이때 전에 입력한 내용이 [ ]안에 나타나는데 만약 새로운 뉴스 그룹을
입력하지
않으면 [ ]안의 뉴스그룹을 찾아서 화면에 보여준다.. 다음은 sun에 관련
되
뉴스그룹을 찾기 위한 위의 명령어를 실행한 결과이다.

자주 보는 뉴스그룹은 리스트의 앞쪽에 놓아두는 것이 편리하므로 m key
를
이용해 앞쪽으로 이동시킵니다. 다음은 명령어를 수행한 결과를 보여주는
것입니다.

이때 원하는 위치의 번호를 입력하면 그 뉴스그룹은 원하는 위치로 이동
하게
된다. M key를 입력하면 다음과 같은 내용이 화면에 나난다.

Select option by entering number before text. Any other key to
save.

특정 그룹의 뉴스를 보기 위해서는 화살표를 보고자 하는 그룹으로 이동
시킨 후
return key를 누르면 된다. 다음은 alt.archery 뉴스 그룹의 article이 현재
없음을 보여준다..

사용자는 제공되는 명령어를 적절히 이용하면 편리하게 article을 볼 수
있다 .
제공되는 명령어들은 Group Selection Menu에서 제공되는 것과 비슷하므
로 쉽게
사용할 수 있다.
